My Photography PR Agency is Ten!
July 2023 – This week, I’m celebrating a major milestone – a whole decade of running my business!
As a PR consultant, I’ve been supporting independent small businesses with PR and marketing, and in 2015 I niched down to exclusively working with professional photographers.
Empowering Photographers to be “PR-Savvy”
I’m on a mission to support professional photographers and help them stand out, get noticed, and connect with their dream clients. I do this by securing high-visibility PR and creating compelling search-optimised marketing content.
I kick-started my journey as a small business owner back in 2013, after accruing 10 years of experience in PR and marketing. Since then, I’ve supported many incredible photographers, helping them to showcase their talents and get the recognition they deserve.

More than twenty years of PR experience
I’ve developed a signature method that incorporates SEO copywriting, blog writing, and media publicity, and this is now the foundation of all of my photography marketing and PR services.
Every day in my business, I help boost my clients’ website visibility and create compelling marketing copy and blog content that helps them secure higher rankings in Google and convert followers into clients. I also help my clients to get featured in the media – for example, in national and international news and magazines.
Current and past clients have been featured in publications such as BBC News, The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, Woman & Home and Happiful, as well as photography publications including Black & White Photography, Digital Photographer, Photography Monthly, and Professional Photo Magazine…too many to mention here!

Supporting an international community of photographers
As well as the work I do in my photography PR agency, I host the PR Savvy Photographers Facebook group. There are well over 1100 professional photographers in the community from all around the world!
In the group I share PR, content marketing, and SEO tips, all to equip photographers with the strategies, tools and mindset that they need to stand out. It’s also a free hangout where photographers can network and connect. Come and join in if you haven’t already.

When I started my photography PR agency I was looking for a flexible way to balance work and life as a new parent. Ten years down the line, I’m still loving every minute of being self-employed and working with so many incredible photographers!
